Foxborough voters unite in near unanimous support of the Patriots !!!

Thousands of Foxborough voters overwhelmingly supported the proposed New Patriots Stadium at a Special Town Meeting on Monday, December 6th. All six warrant articles required for the new stadium were approved by more than 90% of the voters.

Article 1 - New Stadium Lease Terms: 2109-Yes, 57-No (97.37%)

Article 2 - New Stadium Land Swap: 2040-Yes, 17-No (99.17%)

Article 3 - Zoning Changes (including the Access Road): 1731-Yes, 121-No (93.47%)
This was the most controversial vote and the one with the greatest opposition - yet it passed by a better than 14-to-1 margin !!!

Article 4 - Re-Zoning Map: 1400-Yes, 27-No (98.11%)

Article 5 - Stadium Sign Bylaw: 1286-Yes, 16-No (98.78%)

Article 6 - Economic Development Area Easement: 1175-Yes, 5-No (99.58%)
