Check out my Panther's casket

I built this casket in about 2 hours.
(see plans below)

I upholstered the inside, then added lights.
And spraypainted a white tiger black.

"Nothing could be finer"... I'm a poet - and I know it!

And painted the contest's sponsors logos on each side...

...as well as a few taunts for the Carolina Panthers.

Here are the complete plans for the casket - it took me about 2 hours to design and build (not
including the paint and upholstery). I sketched out the shape on graph paper. Once the dimensions
looked right I laid them out on some scrap plywood I had, and made up the rest as I went along. I
cut out the wood with a jig saw and screwed it together with drywall screws. Then attached the top
with some hinges I salvaged from an old door. Then I made a handle at each end from some old rope
from my boat. Next I painted the whole thing - this was the most time consuming part of the whole
process. Next I upholstered the inside with some old foam I had and a yard of red velvet (this only
took about 20 minutes). Finally I added the lights, and spraypainted a white tiger to look like a panther.
